They laugh, run around, and explore. Children who feel comfortable in their environment discover the world through different eyes. With this understanding, VITRONIC took part in the “Wiesbaden Engagiert” campaign week at their headquarters in Germany. Together with the organization AWO, we were able to make a small change that ended up having a greater impact than we had initially imagined.
The idea was simple: paint walls and by that, make rooms more inviting. Together with the Philipp Holl daycare center, “Wiesbaden Engagiert” turned this into a day that left visible footprints, in a very positive sense.
The project team consisted of employees from a wide range of departments. Some had children of their own, others simply wanted to get stuck in. The results were impressive: colorful rooms, minor renovations, and children who came into their group room the next day with shining eyes.
What remains of such a dayFor us, it was the children's amazement, their curiosity, and their unfiltered joy at little things like new wall paint, repaired traces of previous children's painting activities, or a room where they enjoy playing.
In a few weeks, we will have the opportunity to meet the children again, this time with our Vision Zero Heroes. In a carefully prepared traffic training session, we will learn together what it means to be safe on the road. It will be a playful experience, conducted at eye level and with lots of laughter. At the end, every child will know how to cross the street and why a helmet can save lives.
At VITRONIC, we believe in intelligent systems that protect people. But we also believe in humanity. Our social commitment is not a duty, but an attitude. It is silent proof that the future can only be created by combining humanity with technology.
Because we care.
