VITRONIC live at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025

VITRONIC will once again be present live at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN this year as part of the MetaFacturing joint stand – and will be bringing several innovations and solutions with it to Essen.

In keeping with this year's motto, “Join the Future,” we will be presenting state-of-the-art technologies for weld seam inspection at booth 3B63.1, including the proven VIRO WSI, our high-precision, AI-supported system for automated weld seam inspection, and Weldloop, our powerful platform for integrating and analyzing inspection and process data. Together, these solutions demonstrate what quality assurance looks like today – and how it will become even smarter, more connected, and more efficient in the future.

These technologies are not only used in industry, but are also a central component of the MetaFacturing EU project, in which VITRONIC is involved as one of the most important technology partners. MetaFacturing brings together leading industry and research partners to develop a fully digital, AI-supported toolchain for metal parts production. The aim is to make production processes more resilient, sustainable, and efficient.

Live demonstrations and technical presentations

At booth 3B63.1, we will show how this vision looks in practice—with a fully functional demo system that combines data from weld seam inspection and process monitoring in real time. Our experts will give practical presentations providing insights into how this combination helps to detect faults before they become critical, optimize processes, and significantly reduce scrap. In addition, our experts Benjamin Schlosser and Peter Daniel will give a presentation at the DVS Congress on Wednesday, September 17, entitled “Optimization of automated weld seam inspection with artificial intelligence methods in image processing.”

WSI WEB: The web extension for intelligent weld seam inspection

A special highlight awaits you exclusively in Essen: We will be presenting our new WSI WEB live at our booth.

This browser-based application makes it possible to analyze and document inspection data regardless of location and feed it back into the production process—without any local software installation. This creates maximum flexibility, reduces response times, and makes quality assurance even more accessible.
